Johnny Marr and Orbital Already Signed
Warner Music UK today announced the launch of Warner Music Artist and Label Services, a new division that offers established artists and independent labels access to a suite of specialised marketing and distribution services. Building on the Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) offering, the service gives successful independent musicians the opportunity to leverage Warner Music’s international marketing and promotions expertise. Artists and labels can choose to work with a range of specialist support functions, including: physical and digital sales and distribution, digital marketing, promotion, publicity, manufacturing, brand partnerships, media planning and buying, synch and licensing. The new service extends the type of collaborations and partnerships Warner Music UK can enter into with artists, and has already attracted Johnny Marr and electronic dance duo Orbital.
Reporting into Christian Tattersfield, CEO, Warner Music UK, the new division will be overseen by Dan Chalmers, Managing Director Rhino and ADA UK. Chalmers will manage the new dedicated teams of marketing and promotion experts and work with them to deliver tailored release strategies.

Orbital worked with Warner Music Artist and Label Services to release their most recent album and utilised a number of specialist operations that include; label management, retail and online marketing, manufacturing, radio and TV promotion, as well as media planning and buying.
