Brandon Squar Named SVP, Digital Strategy and Revenue, ADA Worldwide
Tatia Adams Fox Named SVP, Marketing, ADA
ADA, the independent distribution and services arm of Warner Music Group (WMG), today announced two key appointments within its senior management team, continuing to expand its investment in artist & label services.
Brandon Squar has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Digital Strategy and Revenue, ADA Worldwide, a role in which he is responsible for driving global digital revenue and providing strategic opportunities for ADA and its independent artist and label partners. Meanwhile, Tatia Adams Fox has been named Senior Vice President, Marketing, ADA, and is tasked with overseeing marketing, product management and expanding brand partnerships for ADA on behalf of its rosters of artists and labels. Both are based in New York and report to David Orleans, President, ADA. Mike Jbara, President, ADA Worldwide, made the announcement.
“Our commitment to both operational excellence and expanding the services we offer are substantial and moving quickly,” said Jbara. “By promoting Brandon and hiring Tatia into these newly-created positions we are further strengthening two key areas of ADA’s business—digital strategy and marketing—and underscoring our core goal of generating worldwide fan awareness on behalf of our artist and label partners.”
“We are committed to providing the framework for expert artist development and superior execution of those plans,” said Adams Fox. “ADA has a proud history of going beyond what it means to be an independent distribution company and I’m very happy to carry on that tradition in this new role.”
“I’m thrilled to take on this new position, especially at such an exciting time for the independent music community,” said Squar. “ADA’s continued enrichment of services keeps us out front as we innovate around how to connect artists and labels to the digital audience and marketplace.”
Squar previously served as Vice President, Digital Sales & Marketing, ADA. A 17-year music industry veteran, Squar has held various roles—with an emphasis on digital strategy, strategic marketing and sales—at companies including Universal Music Group, Island Def Jam Records, Live Nation, and Warner Music Group.
Adams Fox previously served as Vice President of Marketing at Universal Motown Records, working with artists such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Akon, Nick Cannon, Swizz Beatz, Q-Tip, Wu-Tang Clan, Lloyd, Kat Deluna, David Banner, Carl Thomas, Loon and Melanie Fiona. Prior, she launched her own marketing firm, BOOPA! Integrated Marketing, and held stints at Playboy Enterprises and MTV Networks.
